The World Cover dataset is a global 10 meter land cover product in 2020 jointly produced by ESA and several scientific research institutions around the world; The resolution of this data product is 10 meters, which is based on Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 data. It includes 11 land cover categories, including forest land, shrub, grassland, cultivated land, building, desert, snow ice, water, wetland, mangrove, moss lichen. It is generated within the framework of the European Space Agency WorldCover project, which is part of the ESA Fifth Earth Observation Network Program (EOEP - 5).
